Henry goes on to feed the sheep. They eat hay, too. The sheep are in a little pen by the side of the barn. They are so wooly they don’t need much shelter from the weather but they do need protection from wolves and bears and roaming dogs.
The farm’s dog’s name is Rowdy. He knows he must not chase the sheep just for fun, and the sheep trust him…almost! They watch him a little suspiciously while they chew their hay. “Don’t worry, sheep” says Henry. We’ve come to FEED you, not EAT you!”
